From Thursday, 12 February to Tuesday, 17 February 2026
The Verona Carnival, also known as "Bacanal del Gnoco" is one of the oldest carnivals in Europe, as well as one of the most popular events in the city of Romeo and Juliet. The highlight of the celebrations is the street parade of typical masks and floats that takes place on the so-called "Gnocolar Friday", as on this day it is a custom to eat homemade gnocchi. We will take you on a discovery of this ancient festival and much more. We will visit the medieval villages of Montagnana and Soave, get to know the Lake Garda area and its traditions, and enjoy tastings of wines and regional products.
