During the summer season, tourist resorts offer a medical service called the "Guardia Medica Turistica," available to both Italian and foreign visitors who live in or are temporarily staying in these areas. The service typically operates from 1 July to 31 August, with possible extensions until October in some locations. For serious medical emergencies, fully equipped hospitals are available near the lake.
