For visitors who are interested in plants, flowers and meadows, a visit to the Parco Giardino Sigurtà in Valeggio sul Mincio is a must!
The site, awarded "Most beautiful park of Italy in 2013", is a truly green oasis and an explosion of colours when the flowers are in bloom. The park is the ideal place to spend a day in touch with nature! It can be visited on foot, with the golf cart (available at the rental) or by bike (one’s own or rented). Visitors can also go on board the mini railway or the electric shuttle bus. Anyway, the desire to run free in the meadows here will definitely be satisfied!
The park also boasts bars with snacks and drinks, but it would be a pity not to have a picnic in the gardens or in the covered area of the Tà farm with its educational space entirely dedicated to families, where visitors can meet donkeys, sheep, goats, turkeys, and ducks.

The Sigurtà Garden Park is open daily from 8 March to 9 November 2025, from 9 am to 7 pm, with last admission at 6 pm. In the months of March, October, and November the park closes at 6 pm, with last admission at 5 pm.
Ticket prices vary depending on age: €18 for adults, €10 for children up to 14 years, €14 for seniors aged 65 and above. Children under 4 years of age enter for free.
Events in 2025
As in previous years, Sigurtà Garden Park presents a vibrant lineup of events for 2025, crafted to delight visitors of all ages.
The season gets kicked off with the park opening on 8 March. As per tradition, the day will be entirely dedicated to International Women’s Day. All women can enter for free to celebrate their day and treat themselves to a pleasant walk surrounded by nature. Men will also enjoy a reduced rate of €14 instead of €18.
Also, do not miss the spectacular tulip blossom that colours the park in March and April. With over 100 varieties on display, be sure to bring your camera or smartphone to capture the breathtaking spectacle. The show garden is a must-see, featuring informative labels and captivating floral installations. Immerse yourself in the beauty of floating flower beds and enchanting flower benches as you wander through this enchanting display.
If you love art, the Artist’s Saturday is just the thing for you: whether you are a professional, an amateur or an art enthusiast, you can have fun painting or drawing in the open air. Just submit your work to marketing@sigurta.it for a chance to be selected. 30 lucky artists will be chosen to receive a free pass to explore the park and draw inspiration from its most evocative views. This year, the event will be held on 29 March, 12 April, 27 September, and 11 October.
A special event has also been planned for the younger visitors: on 19 April an adventurous Easter egg hunt will be held in the park! The event is open to children aged 3-10 years in the following time slots: 10 am - 1 pm, 2 pm - 5 pm. No reservations are required and the event is free to attend (although the standard park entrance fee applies). Plus, each young participant will receive a special reward!
And don’t forget to buy the tickets to the Buskers Park on 18 May! There will be so many artists, jugglers, and tightrope walkers performing around the park that you won't know where to look!
On 25 May, animal lovers will enjoy the Pecoratosando at the Educational Farm, where they can watch shearers at work as they cut off the sheep's fleeces. The stars of the day are the Lessinia Brogne sheep, prized for their milk, wool, and meat. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore traditional craftsmanship and the essential practice of shearing, an ancient yet vital process for the sheep’s well-being.
On summer evenings, Sigurtà Garden Park hosts Yoga and Pilates classes in a serene outdoor setting. Yoga sessions will take place on June 4, 11, 18, and 25, as well as July 2, while pilates enthusiasts can join classes on June 19 and 26, and July 3 and 10. All sessions begin after 7 pm, following the park’s closing time, providing a peaceful and exclusive experience immersed in nature.
Opera lovers won’t want to miss the Stelle della Lirica live concert on 18 August — now in its 15th edition and featuring nationally and internationally acclaimed artists.
Children's Days will be celebrated on 8 June and 5 October, featuring special face painting, magic performances, captivating shows, and interactive creative activities designed especially for little ones.
On 6 and 7 September, the Magical World of Cosplay will take place, a colourful event dedicated to the Japanese trend of dressing up as characters from animated cartoons, comics, and fantasy stories. The event is in its 19th edition: don't miss out!
On 21 September, there will be the wonderful Journey through Time displaying parades of vintage carriages, horses, and dances from the nineteenth century to make you live a fairytale in one of the most romantic parks in the world.
