Cycling Tour on the Wine Route

A 20-km panoramic tour along the Strada dell'Uva

The bicycle is the ideal means of transport to explore the beautiful landscape of Lake Garda and enjoy splendid views not only on the lake shores, but also in the surrounding countryside that has been skilfully shaped by human hand for centuries.

The wine route is about 20 kilometres long and takes you directly into a spectacular scenery. From the old town of Bardolino you head to the picturesque "Strada dell'Uva" that leads through the morenic hills offering a unique view of Lake Garda. A harmonious area whose rough territory has been honed and modelled by hard agricultural work and is surrounded by the steep slopes of the lush and majestic Monte Baldo. This easy path is characterized by panoramic "ups and downs" that cross vineyards and olive groves.

The eastern shore of the lake is called "Olive Riviera", an area where two excellent products from the Veneto region come from: the renowned extra virgin olive oil from Lake Garda with protected designation of origin and the famous Bardolino wine of controlled designation of origin, born in the hills close to the town. The excursion leads through lush vineyards to Lazise and then back to Bardolino. This route offers no particular difficulties.

The mild climate, the healthy balance of sun and rain, the variety of soil and the passion and know-how of the farmers have created a landscape that seems painted.

So, off we go! Let's explore this wonderful region together!
